Who this covers

TattooConsults (a loud.ink platform) gives tattoo artists a booking page at tattooconsults.com/[their name]. This policy covers both artists who create an account and visitors who use an artist's page to request a consult.

Information we collect

From artists who sign up:

• Name, email, and password (used for login)
• Profile details you choose to add: profile picture, Instagram handle, shop address, styles, hourly rate (only if you choose to share it)
• Portfolio images you upload
• Whether you opted in to receive loud.ink's own marketing about growing your bookings — separate from, and unrelated to, anything a client submits

From visitors who submit a consult request on an artist's page:

• Name, and whichever of email/phone/Instagram you provide
• Which contact method you prefer, and which days work for you
• Your message and any reference images you attach
• Whether you agreed to be contacted about the request, whether you opted in to availability/offer updates from that artist, and whether you separately opted in to news/updates from TattooConsults/loud.ink itself

How it's used

Consult request information is used by the artist you submitted it to, so they can follow up with you about your request. If you opted in to updates from that artist, they may also use your email or Instagram to reach out about future availability or offers — never by phone, and only through that opt-in. If you separately opted in to TattooConsults/loud.ink news, we may use your email or Instagram for that — this is never shared with, or used on behalf of, other artists. An artist can archive a consult request they consider inactive, which hides it from their day-to-day view without deleting it.

Each artist only sees their own clients

This is enforced at the database level, not just in the app: an artist can never query, view, or export another artist's consult requests, portfolio, or account data, even by directly crafting a request. The same person contacting two different artists on TattooConsults shows up as two entirely separate, unlinked records — we don't match or merge client identities across artists.

Third-party services we use

• Supabase hosts our database, file storage, and login system.
• Google Maps is used for address autocomplete when an artist sets their shop location, and to show that location on their public page.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel — TattooConsults itself uses a pixel to measure ad performance for sign-ups. Individual artists may also add their own pixel to their page to measure their own ad campaigns; if so, that artist (not TattooConsults) controls that data.
• Email — when you submit a consult request, an email notification may be sent to the artist (and, if they've set one, a secondary address they've configured).

Cookies & tracking

Pages with a Meta Pixel active (ours or an artist's own) set cookies used for ad measurement and retargeting, per Meta's own policies. You can opt out of personalized ads through your Meta account's ad settings, or by using standard browser tracking-protection tools.

Your choices

Artists can edit their profile and portfolio images, or permanently delete their entire account, at any time from their dashboard. If you submitted a consult request and want it removed, contact the artist directly, or reach out to us at the email below and we'll help.

Account deletion

When an artist deletes their account, their page, portfolio, and every consult request they've received — including all client-identifying details such as names, emails, phone numbers, messages, and reference photos — are permanently removed. This cannot be undone.

We keep one small aggregate record afterward: the artist's name, general location (city/state/country), styles, and the total number of consult requests they received. This is kept indefinitely for internal platform analysis, so loud.ink can understand how useful the platform was to artists who used it. It contains no client information and can't be used to identify or contact anyone who ever submitted a request to that artist.
